Kitchen Walls
Kitchen walls need protection, but not as much as backsplashes, hence more finishes are available. In essence any type of Venetian/Polished plaster or Microcement finish is suitable for a kitchen. You can even go for Moroccan Tadelakt, a beautiful lime plaster finish sealed with Black Olive Soap.
Backsplashes
Backsplashes require special finishing to protect them from water and grease, but a wide variety of finishes is still available. You can save yourself a lot of mess and time by going right over your old tiles!! From Microcement to Pietra Spaccata (shown above) to Textured Finishes to Marble to Travertino, the choices are limited by your imagination.

Worktops
Say hello to your new best friend…Microcement! Microcement is an amazing product composed of cementitious materials, colourants, and resins. It is an incredibly strong and flexible material that can be applied in a series of thin layers to a wide variety of substrates. It’s waterproof, stain resistant, and can go straight over an old worktop!
