Cascata (Cascade) Effect
The cascata effect is created by dragging the coloured plaster up and down (or side to side) to create unpredictable and visually interesting effects, reminiscent of falling water. The trowel can be used to burnish the high points, giving ripples of sheen, or it can be left with a more matte look.
